For Filmmakers · Idea to Final Cut

Everything a filmmaker needs. Not twelve separate logins.

SparkStation connects every stage of making a film into one studio: develop the story, get script coverage, storyboard the shoot, cast consistent characters, generate the footage, cut and caption it, then auto-package trailers, posters and every platform size. Six connected stages, one continuous flow of data, start wherever your project already is.

What does SparkStation give a filmmaker? A connected pipeline covering every stage of production, not a grab-bag of disconnected features. Story Builder, Script Doctor, Storyboard Creator and Budget Estimator plan the project. Casting Director and five Character & Scene Consistency locks keep every generated shot on-model. AI Image and AI Video Generation produce the footage. Video Editor and Subtitle Creator finish the cut, including a direct handoff to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. And AI Video Intelligence, Thumbnail Creator, Poster Creation and Resize & Repurpose package the result for every platform. Use one tool or all fourteen, the data carries forward either way.

📖 Stage 1 of 6

Ideate & Develop the StoryPowered by Story Builder

Every project starts from wherever it actually is, a logline, a loose idea, or nothing but a genre and a mood. Story Builder develops that into a full draft across five formats (Short Story, Novel/Long-Form, Feature Screenplay, TV Series Bible, Microdrama Series), each with a format-appropriate structure blueprint, while a Story Bible quietly fills in with characters and world/lore as they're mentioned.

What a filmmaker actually gets at the end: a Handoff package, story overview, characters, costumes, locations, props, lighting, palette and camera language, the same continuity data every later stage on this page reads from.

📝 Stage 2 of 6

Get Coverage & Plan the ShootPowered by Script Doctor, Storyboard Creator & Budget Estimator

Script Doctor gives the draft, or any script you already have, an evidence-cited coverage pass across 16 analysis dimensions: a weighted score, a setup/payoff ledger, character arc integrity, and a Production Footprint report that becomes a direct input to the budget below.

Storyboard Creator takes that same story or script and builds a Character Bible and World Lock, plans every scene, and generates a panel-by-panel shot breakdown, Wide Establishing, Medium, Insert, Two-Shot, Close-Up, Over-the-Shoulder, in one of five art styles.

Budget Estimator turns the Production Footprint into a per-second cost across nine categories, with a quality tier (Economy, Standard, Premium) and an AI-generation wastage multiplier most budgeting tools ignore, output as a client-ready PDF or CSV quote.

🎭 Stage 3 of 6

Cast & Lock ContinuityPowered by Casting Director & Character/Scene Consistency

Continuity doesn't fail all at once, it fails five different ways. Casting Director sets a character's base identity once, from a real cast lineup. From there, five separately-engineered locks hold that consistency across every subsequent generation: Character Identity (face and build), Expression Continuity, Wardrobe Continuity, Location Consistency, and Property & Object Consistency.

Without this, describing a character by text alone and generating that description three times returns three different people. With it, the same cast, wardrobe and set carry from Story Builder's Handoff all the way to the final shot.

🔒 Character Identity 🔒 Expression Continuity 🔒 Wardrobe Continuity 🔒 Location Consistency 🔒 Property & Object Consistency
🎥 Stage 4 of 6

Generate the FootagePowered by AI Image Generation & AI Video Generation

AI Image Generation is a 16-module suite covering everything from the base generator to Upscaler, Multi-Shot and Multi-Angle coverage of the same setup, Virtual Try-On, Face Swap, Color Grading and more, the still-image half of production.

AI Video Generation directs the moving shot without requiring cinematography jargon: a Prompt Assistant refines what you typed, a Camera Rig lets you pick a real camera body, lens and focal length, and a Camera Movement library previews and applies real moves, push, orbit, dolly, whip pan, crane, before you set output aspect ratio, duration and resolution and generate.

Edit, Caption & Voice the CutPowered by Video Editor & Subtitle Creator

Video Editor is a real browser-based, multi-track timeline, unlimited tracks, linked audio, a Split/Delete/Marker/Loop toolbar, six transition styles set independently in and out per clip, a full per-clip properties panel (opacity, scale, crop, filter presets, brightness/contrast/saturation/vignette), styled text in 12 fonts, and a live aspect-ratio switcher across 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5. Export renders a local MP4, or use Send to Editor to hand an editable timeline straight to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, nothing uploaded either way.

Subtitle Creator auto-transcribes the cut, then translates it into 32 additional languages with the original's exact cue timing preserved, each downloadable as its own SRT file.

🎙️

Voice & music, on a verified basis

SparkStation already prices AI-generated voice and music as real line items, Budget Estimator's Economy tier specs "AI-generated video, voice and music" with automated lip-sync, Standard blends in human VO artists, and Premium adds studio dubbing. Dedicated AI Voice and AI Music pages with full feature detail are next on the build list, this page states only what's verified in the budget tool today.

📦 Stage 6 of 6

Package & DeliverPowered by AI Video Intelligence, Thumbnail Creator, Poster Creation & Resize & Repurpose

AI Video Intelligence is one pipeline, Frame Extractor → Key Frames → Key Moments → Highlights → Generate, that points at long-form footage, finds the moments worth keeping, and auto-cuts a Teaser (15-30s), Trailer (60-90s) or Reel (15-60s) from them, plus generates matching Thumbnails and Posters from the same key frames.

Thumbnail Creator and Poster Creation also stand on their own for anyone who just needs the artwork, 16 thumbnail templates across 5 categories, and 16 poster styles across 5 genre categories plus a custom-reference option.

Resize & Repurpose closes the loop for distribution, Adapt for images and Video Reframe for footage, covering every platform ratio a delivery actually needs, with a choice of Extend-canvas or Smart-crop and Adaptive or Locked-center reframing strategies.

For filmmakers, in brief.

What tools does SparkStation give filmmakers?

A connected pipeline covering every stage of making a film: Story Builder, Script Doctor, Storyboard Creator and Budget Estimator for pre-production; Casting Director and Character & Scene Consistency for continuity; AI Image Generation and AI Video Generation for the footage itself; Video Editor and Subtitle Creator for the cut; and AI Video Intelligence, Thumbnail Creator, Poster Creation and Resize & Repurpose for packaging and distribution. Fourteen tools, one login.

Do I have to use every tool, or can I just use one?

Just one is fine. Every tool works on its own with its own login link, bring an existing script straight into Script Doctor, or a finished video straight into Video Editor or Subtitle Creator. The pipeline framing describes how the tools connect when you use more than one, not a requirement to use all of them.

Can AI really replace a script reader, storyboard artist or line producer?

SparkStation's pre-production pipeline automates the deliverables those roles normally produce, a scored script coverage report, a panel-by-panel storyboard, and a line-item budget, so an independent filmmaker can get all three without hiring separately for each. It's a substitute for the first-pass deliverable, not a claim that no human judgment is involved afterward.

Does a character stay consistent across every generated shot?

Yes, across five separately-engineered locks: Character Identity (face and build), Expression Continuity, Wardrobe Continuity, Location Consistency, and Property & Object Consistency, each addressing a different way AI generation otherwise drifts between shots, cast once from Casting Director's lineup.

Can I export my edit to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve?

Yes. Video Editor's Send to Editor button downloads a ready file for Final Cut Pro (FCPXML), Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (both XML) in one click, or lets you pick the format (XML, FCPXML or EDL) and frame rate manually. Cut points, track order and markers carry over; transition effects and per-clip audio levels don't and need re-adding in the NLE.

Can SparkStation auto-generate a trailer or highlight reel from my footage?

Yes. AI Video Intelligence extracts frames from a source video, detects key moments, and cuts a Teaser (15-30s), Trailer (60-90s) or Reel (15-60s) from those key frames, the same engine also generates matching thumbnails and posters from the footage it's already analyzed.

Does SparkStation generate voice and music too?

The capability is real and already priced: Budget Estimator's nine cost categories include Voice & Lip-Sync and Music & Audio, and its quality tiers specify AI-generated voice and music at the Economy tier, human VO artists blended in at Standard, and studio dubbing at Premium. Dedicated AI Voice and AI Music pages with full feature detail are still being built, this page doesn't claim more than what's verified in the budget tool today.

Is there a free way to try the whole pipeline?

Yes. Every tool in the pipeline has its own free-to-start entry point, there's no separate persona-level paywall for filmmakers specifically. Start wherever the project actually is: an idea, a finished script, or footage that just needs a cut.
