1 What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. This notice also covers similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, and device identifiers, which we refer to together as “cookies”. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2 Technologies we use
- Cookies, session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain for a set period).
- Pixel tags / web beacons, tiny images used to understand whether pages or emails have been viewed and how features are used.
- Local storage, HTML5 storage used to remember settings and improve performance.
- Device & advertising identifiers, used, with consent where required, for measurement and marketing.
3 Categories of cookies
We group cookies into four categories:
- Strictly necessary Always on, required for the Service to function: authentication and login, security and fraud prevention, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional Consent, remember your preferences such as language and interface settings to give you a better experience.
- Analytics / performance Consent, help us understand how the Service is used so we can measure performance, run A/B tests, and improve it. Aggregated where possible.
- Advertising / targeting Consent, used to measure marketing campaigns and, where applicable, to show and attribute relevant ads across sites.

The tables below list the cookies used on SparkStation.ai, grouped by category, together with the provider that sets them, their purpose, and how long they last. Cookie names and durations set by third parties can change without notice; the live, authoritative list is always available in our cookie preferences centre.

5 Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that provide services on our behalf. These providers process data under their own privacy policies, linked below:

- Google Analytics, usage and performance measurement. See Google’s privacy policy and GA opt-out.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel, advertising delivery, measurement, and retargeting. See Meta’s privacy policy.
- comScore, aggregate audience measurement. See comScore’s privacy policy.
Where third-party advertising or analytics involves cross-context behavioural advertising, you can opt out through our cookie preferences centre and Global Privacy Control signals. We use a consent-management tool to record and honour your choices.
6 Managing your preferences
You are in control of non-essential cookies. You can:
- set your choices in the cookie banner shown on your first visit;
- change them at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer;
- withdraw consent, which takes effect for future processing; and
- rely on Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, which we treat as a valid opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” where applicable.
7 Browser & device controls
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. You can block pixel tags in emails by disabling remote images in your email client. For broader ad controls, see YourAdChoices (DAA) and the NAI opt-out. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how the Service works, and clearing cookies will reset your preferences.
8 Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you or re-request consent. Please review this notice periodically.
